DrupalCreators: designers of Content Managed Websites
This website is built using Drupal one of the world's leading open source content management systems (CMS).
What the general public sees when visiting this site is just a tiny fraction of what lies beyond this front page.
Accounts are created for the different types of users that will access the content within.
For example, the categories for a clinic could be:
- Administration
- Doctors
- Nurses
- Patients
- Staff
- Families
- Volunteers
The content would be restricted so that it could only be accessed by selected members of the site.
For example:
Doctors could see the nurse's notes and the patient information and any other information that is deemed necessary.
Nurses could see the patient's medical records but not see the financial records.
The Staff could monitor and arrange the schedules for the volunteers, but not see anything else.
Permissions are granted so that certain members can:
- See or not see specific content
- Create or write content
- Modify or delete content
- Access documents or photographs etc.
- Fill in and submit forms containing data
We could add other modules, such as:
- Blog
- Forum
- Polls
- Advertizing
- Shopping Cart
